Privacy Policy — SMS Notifications

Effective date: 2026-05-15

This Privacy Policy describes how the operator of this messaging program ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information — in particular mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data — in connection with the SMS text-message notifications sent under this program.

About this messaging program

This is an SMS-based notification program operated by an individual (the "Operator") for personal use. It sends short, automated SMS text messages relating to the Operator's own software systems — specifically alerts about newly discovered software vulnerabilities affecting the Operator's projects and operational notifications about the Operator's servers.

Information we collect

The only personal information collected in connection with this SMS program is a single mobile phone number, which is the Operator's own phone number, configured by the Operator into the sending system. We do not collect mobile phone numbers, names, or any other personal information from any other person, source, or third party.

How we use mobile information

The configured mobile phone number is used solely to deliver the automated SMS alerts described above. No marketing, promotional, advertising, or commercial messages are sent under this program.

Sharing of mobile information

No mobile information — including mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.

Mobile information will never be shared or sold to third parties or lead generators under any circumstances.

The only third parties that necessarily handle SMS message contents in transit are the SMS provider used to deliver messages (Twilio Inc.) and the recipient mobile carrier. Their handling of messages in transit is governed by their respective privacy policies.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on the volume of system events generated by the Operator's monitored projects. Typical volume is fewer than 100 messages per week.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply per the recipient's mobile carrier plan.

Opt-out and help

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to any message and we will immediately and permanently unsubscribe the recipient from further SMS messages from this program. After replying with one of these keywords, you will receive an SMS confirming the cancellation, and no further messages will be sent.

For help, reply HELP at any time to receive a brief description of the program and the Operator's contact information. You can also contact the Operator directly at the address below.

Data retention

Message content and delivery logs are retained by the SMS provider (Twilio) according to their data retention policy. The Operator does not retain message contents or recipient delivery records beyond the operational logs maintained by the sending system itself.

Children

This SMS service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly send messages to anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy is updated, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
